                            LIFE OF SATHGURU

Actual name of Gurumaharaj Sri Guruvayya was Guravayya Swami.Sri Swami was born in Nagulavellatur,Atmakuru taluq in the district of Nellore, Andhra Pradesh,India.He was born in a poor family to Sri Nuteti Appayya and Smt. Venkatamma, who were well known for their goodness.Lord Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swami and Lord Sri Gurappa Gurunath blessed them in the dream and told them that they would have a son, who would be equivalent to them.The Pious couple named the boy as Guravayya Swami.

        Sri Guravaya Swamy was born on Vaisakha Purnima in the year 1955.Parents took him to Bhagavan Sri Venkayya Swami to Penna-Badvel for the blessings at the age of two.Sri Venkayya Swami blessed and told them that the boy was not an ordinary child, and he would have a very bright and great future and would return to him at the age of 18 years.Sri Guravayya swami studied up to 5th Grade in elementary school in Nagulavellatur.

        Sri Guravayya Swami started meditation at the age of 12 years at Penchalakona, where Lord Sri Narasimha Swami blessed him and directed him to serve Sri Venkayya Swami and lead a life of Bachelor throughout his life with ideal principles. And Lord blessed him that he would be with him and guide him throughout his career.

       With inplicit devotion Sri Guravayya Swami went to Golagamudi to serve Bhagavan Sri Venkayya Swami. Sri Guravvayya Swami served Venkayya Swami for a week days and felt very difficult to render services and went back to his place.Sri Guravayya Swami expressed his strong desire for doing Tapas(penance)and requested his parents to make a kutiram (a thatched hut)for that purpose.Sri Guravayya Swami parents erected a thatched hut in their lemon garden.Sri Guravayya Swami performed Tapas with utmost faith and dedication for some years.Goddess Lord Sri Rajarajeswari Devi gave Darshan to Guravayya Swami.Sri Guravayya Swami could not withstand the great radiating and illuminating stature of the power of energy of Goddess Sri Rajarajeswari Devi and came back running to Lord Sri Venkayya Swami. Lord Sri Venkayya Swami received him with utmost love and affection and blessed him with his divine powers.Bhagavan Sri Venkayya Swami empowered Sri Guravayya Swami to withstand the power of the Goddess.Sri Guravayya Swami Could witness the power of the goddess and had the dive blessings.Then onwards Guravayya Swami involved himself in rendering services to Bhagavan Sri Venkayya Swami.

              In the year 1974 Bhagavan Sri Venkayya Swami very often used to tour all the places.Sri Guravayya Swami accompany his Master and served him with utmost dedication and treated him like God.He served him every moment unmindful of seasonal vagaries.Some times Sri Guravayya Swami used to Carry him in a doli (A Chair like one made of wood) to various places as per the directions and instructions of Bhagavan Sri Venkayya Swami.Venkayya Swami stayed in a kutiram, in Golagamudi. Bhagavan Sri Venkayya Swami would be in the state of  "Samadhi"(Trans) for most of the times.He used to ask Guravayya Swami to take care of his mortal body,before going to trans.Guravayya Swami used to protect Venkayya Swami's physical body and stay with him throughout ,not even caring for his physical needs.Guravayya Swami rendered his services by cleaning the body and excretions of Bhagavan Sri Venkayya Swami.

              While Sri Guravayya Swami totally involved himself in the service of his Master Bhagavan Sri Venkayya Swami,blessed him and gave him the darshan as Lord Sri Dattatreya,Sri Shirdi Sai Baba,Sri Rama,Sri Krishna ,Sri Lakshmi,Sri Parvati ,Sri Saraswati and Sri Raja RajeswariDevi.Sri Guravayya Swami felt inspired by the divine bliss.

            Bhagawan Sri Venkayya Swami felt very happy with the services rendered by Guravayya Swami and blessed him by saying "You shall become a great saint like me and attain the form of God". And we both have the relation of Nara-Narayan (A sacared bond between Arjuna abd Lord Sri Krishna). We have to sacrifice everything to protect the human beings and create the environment with love and peace to needy".Sri Guravayya Swami experienced overwhelming happiness and joy when he heard these words from Bhagawan Sri Venkayya Swami.

            In the Ashram of Golagamudi both Master and the disciple used to share so many things.Both used to sit and sleep on the same bed, discussing together,moving together to all the places all the time,as if there was no difference between them.Both used to maintain "Dhuni" (Scared fire) always and together performed everything, which made people around,to astonish at their holy relationship and bond.

          Bhagawan Sri Venkayya Swami left his physical body on 24th August 1982.The body was found encircled with illumination and great divine radiation for three days.Sri Guravayya Swami himself made arrangements and performed the rituals for Mahasamadhi. After Bhagawan Sri Venkayya Swami  sad demise, Sri Guravayya Swami used to roam about agricultural fields and in the forest continuously, with half hazardous and wavering mind, wearing a small piece of cloth.

           He came back to Ashram, when he recollected the instructions given by his beloved Sathguru, and started curing many diseases of devotees in distress in the same way as Bhagawan Sri Venkayya Swami  used to do, by giving holy thread and rotating a long piece of cloth, and ultimately attained the majestic status of sathguru.

          Saint and sathguru Sri Sri Sri Rami Reddy visited Golagamudi and blessed Sri Guravaya Swami whenever he came to Nellore.Saint Sri Rami Reddy gave darshan in the dream to Lord Sri Swami and instructed him "You also should work for the good of this world,as i am doing at present", just two months before his demise(Mahasamadhi).

            Sri Guravayya Swami carried out the instructions and protected and helped many people by solving their problems, fulfilling their desires,curing many diseases,and helping every one directing them to lead life in spiritual way and providing  a smooth path for attaining divinity, and showing many miracles for the spiritual benefit of the human beings.

        Sri Guravayya Swami used to declare that his Master, Bhagawan Sri Venkayya Swami does all the miracles and he was just an instrument.Good things will happen to those who have faith in God.

        He tells people to have faith and surrender to his Master and follow the guidelines of his Master Bhagawan Sri Venkayya Swami. Sri Guravayya Swami fully attained the stature of "Samartha Sathguru".

            In the year 1993, some people and villagers of Venkatachalam Satram got annoyed and worried when they saw Sri Guravayya Swami lying under a tree in pieces. They thought and concluded that some body might have murdered Sri Swami.Later they were surprised to observe that Sri Swami woke up and walked away very casually.This is a great incident,which related to performance of "Khanda Yoga" by Sri Swami.

          In the year 1994,some villagers found Sri Swami's body lying down in pieces near Nagulavellatur place.When people approached him,Samartha Sathguru Sri Swami woke up and blessed them and walked away with a smile.This is another great event that shows Swami's Yoga Sidhi in Khandayoga.
