This is one of the many states and phases of “Yoga”, inherited from our ancestors. The activity of “Yogic” performances can be normally experienced with Saints. Saints who would always be in a state, where they are one with the God. These saints will be possessing the power of God, and can easily perform them. You do not find these performances in any country either now or in the past. Those who bother much for acquiring and discover this materialistic world, cannot even think of this yoga performance. All religions preach to reach up to the premises of God’s kingdom. But our ancient culture preaches “There is no limit, and your limit is infinite”.
Many saints demonstrated the power of “Khandayoga” in their life. Sri Shirdi Saibaba demonstrated many a time this yoga process. Bhagavan Sri Venkayya Swami also demonstrated the khanda yoga during his life time.
Experiences of Devotees:Sri Gopal
I am a staunch devotee of Bhagavan Sri Venkayya Swami and used to visit Golagamudi to have blessings of the Lord. I used to worship and meet Samartha Sathguru Sri Guravayya Swami, who is the chief disciple of Bhagavan Sri Venkayya swami, as we learn through the book of the life history of Bhagavan Sri Venkayya Swami. On 9th July 1994, I got a dream in which Samartha Sathguru Sri Guravayya Swami sat before my house. I requested him to come into my house devotionally and wholeheartedly. I was annoyed and afraid, when I found Sri Swami’s legs cut off and separated from the body. I thought that somebody might have murdered Sri Swami. I was surprised and astonished when Sri Swami came walking after a while. He told me that he had come to see me and left without coming inside my house. After 10 days I visited Golagamudi and told about my dream, Then Samartha Sathguru Sri Guravayya Swami told me it was “Khanda Yoga”.
Tribals of Venkatachalam: In the year 1993, the tribals of Venkatachalam found Sri Guravayya Swami underneath a tree, with all body parts apart and limbs separated. They went very close to the tree and thought that somebody might have murdered Sri Swami. Sri Swami then suddenly assembled all parts of the body and started walking away in a very casual manner. People of that village were astonished with what they witnessed. They then started to praise Sri Guravayya Swami.
Devotees of Nagulavaram: In the year 1994, near Nagulavaram, some devotees found Sri Guravayya Swami under a neem tree. Sri swami was sleeping with all bodily parts separated apart. Devotees felt that somebody might have killed Sri Swami. When they approached closer, to their surprise, Sri Swami collected all parts of his body and started wishing them, and asking about their welfare in a very casual and usual manner. When we asked Sri Swami that we thought someone might have killed him, Sri Swami said smilingly “That’s it”. Villagers were very much surprised and discussed with utmost astonishment about the miracle they had seen and witnessed for a long time.
