Experience of Devotees:
Sri D. Ankayya, Golagamudi, Dt. 14th January, 1994
I am a staunch devotee of Bhagavan Sri Venkayya Swami. I used to participate in the devotional ritual of Bhagavan Sri Venkayya Swami, and lead my life. One day I went to the house of Sri Chinakandappa Naidu in Hyderabad along with Samartha Sathguru Sri Guravayya Swami. We went for the inaugural ceremony of a factory, which manufactures electrical wires. Many devotees arranged and offered Sri Swami a holy bath and offered him Asanam. Everyone was trying to have Sri Swami’s blessings, offering Sri Swami whatever they brought. Different types of food items from almost 25 households were kindly accepted and taken by Sri Swami, as served by devotees, to make all devotees happy. And to my surprise Sri Swami asked me “What is there in my belly?” and Sri Swami himself told me that he attained the state of Avadhuta by the grace of Bhagavan Sri Venkayya Swami. Sri Swami stays very normal and usual even after he takes food in large quantity or when he does not take any food at all.

I stayed in the premises of Sri Swami in Adapamudi around two year ago. I was not in a position to move from my house. I was staring at the temple and heard bell ringing, indicating the time for afternoon prayers. I was surprised and astonished when I saw Samartha Sathguru Sri Guravayya Swami come to our house wearing a silk dress. I wanted to welcome Sri Swami and before I got up Sri Swami had disappeared. Sri Swami did this miracle to make me feel very happy. Sri Swami blesses all the devotees whoever they may be.
Sri J. Bala Subrahmanyam, Tirupathi:
I used to visit and have blessings of “Datta Rama Avadhuta” Sri Rami Reddy. He asked me for a cigarette whenever I used to visit him. I was accustomed to arrange the same. In the year 1992 “Avadhuta” Sri Rami Reddy attained “Mahasamadhi”. I was very sad and felt that we missed him a lot, and really not known, to whom I can offer a cigarette.
After two months, that is in the month of March, 1992, I visited Golagamudi. I worshipped “Samadhi” of Bhagavan Sri Venkayya Swami. I could have “darshan” of Samartha Sathguru Sri Guravayya Swami. Sri Swami asked me a cigarette, and advised me not to feel sad for missing Sri Rami Reddy. He also told me, “I am your Sri Rami Reddy”. He smoked the cigarette. And in fact, it happened every time whenever I visited Golagamudi. Thus Samartha Sathguru Sri Guravayya Swami made me feel very happy, by fulfilling my desire.
