                                                   PASSSING OF POWERS

From the history of ' Sathgurus', its very obvious that ' Sathgurus' pass on their spiritual knowledge and powers to the disciples. The disciples continue the activities and become 'Sathgurus'. We can find such deeds of 'SAthgurus' and beloved disciples in the history. To name a few 'Sri Rama Krishna Parama Hamsa' and 'Sri Vivekananda Swamy' , 'Sri Samaradha Ramadas' and 'Shivaji', 'Sri Chanaky', and 'Sri Chadaragupta' and 'Sri Vera Brahmendra Swami' and 'Siddhulaiah'. In the same way, 'Bhagavan Sri Venkayya Swami' of Golagamudi passed his spiritual knowledge and power to Samartha Sathguru Sri Guravayya Swami and made him 'Sathguru' , who takes care of spiritual activity. Samartha Sathguru Sri Guravayya swami, like Bhagavan Sri Venkayya Swami, protects and eliminates diseases and also solves personal problems of devotees. Let us all together bow down at the lotus feet of Samartha Sathguru and pray for his kind grace and blessings.

On 24th August 1982, Bhagavan Sri Venkayya Swami went into 'Mahasamadhi' leaving his eternal body. Samartha Sathguru Sri Guravayya Swami beloved disciple of Bhagavan Sri Venkayya Swami, used to roam around forests, without any direction after the 'Mahasamadhi' of his Sathguru , on day in the forest an old and aged saint wearing 'Rudaraksha', having 'kamandal' in one hand and a trident in other hand, came to Samartha Sathguru Swami and advised him and directed that he should carry out the duties of Bhagavan Venkayya Swami, to protect all devotees and eliminate eternal problems of human beings. He gave him 'Trishul' and Rudraksha garland. even now you can find the trident in the thatched hut of Sri Swami. Samartha Sathguru Swami realized that his 'Sathguru' , Bhagavan Sri Venkayya Swami, came in the guise of lord Sri Dattareya (old and aged saint in the forest).

One day, while Samartha Sathguru Sri Guravayya Swami was wandering in the forest with out having consciousness , slept on the railway track and again went back to forest after he woke up he slept under near by a tree, which was of full of throns. Sri Swami witnessed a very old saint, who blessed Sri Swami and vanished, even though Sri Swami used to wander in the forest, he used to bless all devotees with very pleasing manners and gestures.
